YAA Enterprise believes that experience and expertise does not only remain in one firm. Through our organizational mentors program we encourage our clients and partners to create opportunities for our contractors, employees, and interns to experience new opportunities for growth. This comes in a variety of experiential ways and YAA Enterprise would like to partner with you to do just that.
Education Response Project
Many of our contractors, employees, and interns are the first in their families to receive a college degree or post-graduate degree and may come from backgrounds that are not afforded experiential opportunities in a competitive market. To encourage education and experience without barriers, YAA Enterprise has instituted the Education Response Project to assist our employees, interns, and contractors in gaining additional experiential learning opportunities.
We are requesting clients, donors, and investors to contribute to the intended benefits for our participants
Hands-on experience - Working on contracts and projects provides hands-on experience for participants that can be applied to future jobs and career paths.
Professional development - Experiential learning opportunities allow participants to develop essential professional skills such as communication, teamwork, time management, problem-solving, and critical thinking.
Building a portfolio- By working on real-world projects, participants can build a portfolio of work that showcases their skills and accomplishments, which can be valuable when applying for future jobs.
Networking opportunities - Working on contracts and projects can provide opportunities for our participants to network with industry professionals, potentially leading to future job offers or mentorship opportunities.
Income - Getting paid to work on contracts and projects can provide financial support for participants helping to pay off student loans or cover living expenses.
Exposure to different industries - Working on contracts and projects can expose participants to different industries, helping them to explore and identify their interests and passions.
Increased confidence - Successfully completing contracts and projects can help to build confidence in our participants, allowing them to take on more challenging projects and responsibilities in the future.
